Before your visit…

Hydrate

Just like a massage, in acupuncture your body is flushing out toxins. Hydration helps to rid the body of these toxins that have been stirred up, so to speak.

Wear Loose Clothing

Loose clothing will allow access to areas that may not require disrobing, so that sleeves can be rolled up above the elbows and pant legs can be pulled up above the knees. Should you need to disrobe, you will be in complete privacy and draped under a sheet.

Eat a little something

Even a snack can help your body have enough energy to maximize the treatment’s potential. Receiving acupuncture on an empty stomach may lead to lightheadedness, dizziness or even fainting.
